Held in Trieste, Italy—a city known for its rich coffee heritage, and home of the Modbar office—this event is all about showcasing the best the coffee industry has to offer. It’s no coincidence we chose Trieste as the location for Modbar’s offices; we wanted to be right at the center of the coffee world.
Triestespresso serves as a vibrant gathering for coffee experts, roasters, and baristas from across the globe. The event showcases not only cutting-edge coffee machinery and products but also the rich coffee traditions of Trieste. From espresso machines to coffee grinders and a wealth of coffee-related innovations, attendees can dive deep into all things coffee.

Modbar’s Showcase: Espresso AV & the La Marzocco Pico Grinder
We at Modbar were thrilled to be part of this experience. Our showcase featured the Modbar Espresso AV and Pico grinder, paired with delicious specialty coffee sourced from @bloomspecialty.coffee, a Trieste-based roaster known for its high-quality beans. These machines represent the forefront of coffee-making technology, providing baristas with the tools they need to elevate the coffee experience and extract the perfect shot of espresso every time. Showcasing our technology alongside the unique flavors of Bloom Specialty Coffee made the event a memorable experience for all coffee aficionados in attendance.
Friday’s Highlight: Aperitivo Hour and the “Cascara Fizz”
One of the most memorable parts of Triestespresso was the Friday Aperitivo hour, where we partnered with Tommaso Baldini from Accademia del Caffè Espresso to serve a crowd-favorite coffee cocktail. Known as the “Cascara Fizz,” this refreshing drink combined 7 Senses spirit, cold brew, and cascara tea soda, creating a blend that perfectly captured the essence of coffee with a fresh twist. Served on Modbar’s equipment, this cocktail highlighted the versatility and creative potential of coffee, drawing in visitors and adding a fun social aspect to the event.
